For Sofía Andrade, we created a haute couture mantilla conceived as a profoundly symbolic and elegant piece. The lace was commissioned from Caudry, France , the historic cradle of fine lace and home to a textile tradition with over 200 years of heritage , using artisanal techniques still practiced on the old Leavers looms . This lace, bearing the Dentelle de Calais-Caudry® designation, was selected for its lightness, detail, and impeccable drape, ideal for a mantilla of classic and solemn character. From this exceptional material, we developed a carefully considered design to complement the bridal look with balance and presence, and it was handcrafted in our workshop in Mexico by expert artisans. The result is a mantilla that honors tradition with a contemporary interpretation, enveloping Sofía in a serene, refined, and profoundly timeless aesthetic.
